The Long March
Brothers Samir, Wissam, and Adnan Joubran, born in Nazareth, come from a family of lute makers—their instrument is the oud. As a trio, they have won international acclaim with their highly personal blend of traditional maqamat, Spanish-Arabic music, and jazz-inspired improvisation. For their Pierre Boulez Saal debut, they are joined by three guest artists to perform music from their most recent program, The Long March.
