On the final night of the festival, Naseer Shamma, Iraqi oud master and curator of the Arabic Music Days, presents a special concert, for which he is joined by a quartet of great musicians: guitarist Carlos Piñana and tabla player Miguel Angel from Spain and pakistanis Ashraf Sharif Khan (sitar) and Shahbaz Hussein (tabla). Their 15-year collaboration, which has taken the five artists all across the globe, is reflected in the soulful dialogue of their instruments from different worlds, giving voice to Shamma’s credo that there is no Oriental or Western music, but only music.
