For her second appearance this season, Syrian artist Waed Bouhassoun leads an intimate ensemble featuring Turkish qanun player Hakan Güngör, Kurdish singer and multi-instrumentalist Ruşan Filiztek, and Kurdish percussionist Neșet Kutas. In a program entitled “The Rediscovered Souls,” the four musicians perform Arabic, Turkish, and Bedouin songs about courtly love.
