Since 2019, members of the internationally acclaimed West-Eastern Divan Orchestra have been performing chamber music in the eponymous ensemble. Heard at the Pierre Boulez Saal in various combinations of string instruments in the past, the group now returns to present a colorful program of contemporary works by Elliott Carter, Fanny Hensel's String Quartet, and Beethoven’s brilliant Septet, showcasing the orchestra’s wind players for the first time.
