Born in Nazareth in 1997, violinist Yamen Saadi began his musical education at the Barenboim-Said Conservatory in his hometown. He is a longtime member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and completed his studies in 2019 at the Barenboim-Said Akademie. In June 2022, he was named concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Vienna State Opera. Following numerous Pierre Boulez Saal appearances as a member of the Boulez Ensemble, he now makes his solo debut, for which he is joined by French pianist Julien Quentin. Their program includes works of the late 19th and 20th centuries from Richard Strauss to Luciano Berio.
