Pinchas Zukerman, previously heard at the Pierre Boulez Saal in several concerts opposite Daniel Barenboim—including with Beethoven’s Violin Sonatas in the composer’s anniversary year—returns to Berlin leading his piano trio. Together with cellist Amanda Forsyth and pianist Shai Wosner, the legendary violinist presents a program combining two repertoire classics by Schumann and Beethoven with a contemporary composition by Jennifer Higdon.
