Experiencing music for the thinking ear means to be open to the new and the unknown as well as to the complex. By engaging with it, we learn, we grow, and we gain new perspectives—that is our belief. In the 2022–23 season, complex musical masterpieces from the 14th century to the present invite us to listen closely, reflect, and let ourselves be surprised.
