For the first time the Pierre Boulez Saal this season will present special concerts for the audience of tomorrow. These 45-minute programs are suitable for young listeners aged six to 12. These new concerts will feature musical surprises in an age-appropriate setting.

Oud and Violin: Two Musical Worlds
One represents the sound of Western music, the other embodies the traditions of classical Persian and Arabic music. This concert featuring violin and oud will focus on the dialogue of cultures and the playful meeting in sound of two instruments central to music history.

The concert is a collaboration with the children´s orchestra of Initiative Hangarmusik, Leila Weber, artistic director.
