FILM & TALK: 3 MINUTES 3 DAYS

Since 2013, the film festival “3 Minutes 3 Days” has been taking place in Baghdad every year, beginning on the third day of the third month. Over the course of three days, three-minute short films by young artists compete for three prizes. Number three only provides the frame of the project: the films reflect, in detail, Iraqi reality, telling human stories that take up themes of war, terror, and lack of humanity. During the Arabic Music Days, ten prize-winning films will be screened continuously on Saturday and Sunday, introduced on Saturday morning by a talk with Hikmat Al Baidani, one of the festival’s directors.
